Birdguiding with Wendron School 4th April 2019

We don’t just offer birdguiding trips and experiences for adults at Cornwall Birdwatching Tours! Paul spent the morning at Marazion Marsh RSPB reserve with the children and teachers of Wendron School. Despite the wind and rain a great time was had by all! Glossy Ibis was the star attraction as far as birds were concerned with a supporting cast of singing Cetti’s Warblers, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Robin, Dunnock, Reed Bunting and Goldfinch. Mute Swans, Grey Herons and Cormorants in flight are always good targets for the kids. Sand Martin’s were more of a challenge!

The rain stayed away long enough for lunch on the beach and a play in the park before heading back to school, hopefully with some lasting memories.
