I booked a birdwatching tour for myself and my partner, for her birthday and it did not disappoint! Paul was knowledgeable and ensured we both had a fantastic day! We will be excited for weeks that we saw the Booted Eagle, alongside so many other wonderful birds. We are exhausted but smiling from ear to ear! Thanks Paul!

We have just come back from their January 2025 Norfolk Winter Birding week and it was absolutely brilliant. Paul and Brad are knowledgeable, patient, and brimming with enthusiasm; the dream team of birding. We spotted an incredible 127 species, including some unforgettable lifers and put some bogey birds put to rest (looking at you, Glossy Ibis!). Their knack for finding elusive birds while keeping the atmosphere fun is unmatched. The Norfolk scenery was stunning and the food was excellent and plentiful (to say the least). But it was our guides and great group of birders that made the experience soar. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just starting, you’ll leave with a list full of ticks and a heart full of joy. Absolutely brilliant!

Just back from a week long tour to Norfolk with Paul and Brad. I was slightly apprehensive about this trip as I have only been out for days in the past and I was not sure that I would keep up with a full weeks birding. I need not have worried. From the moment we left Hayle the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The van is extremely comfortable on long journeys with great views of birds on the way to Norfolk. We covered several destinations through the week including the superb Norfolk Wildlife Trust reserves of Welney and Cley, along with Holkham and Old Hunstanton - all from our base at the very comfortable and hospitable Crown Hotel at Mundford. The pace was just right with plenty of time to observe birds. Paul and Brad have many years of expertise and are both passionate birders who are happy to answer questions and assist with ID. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Despite the rain which fell all day we had an excellent days birdwatching around the western part of Cornwall. Paul’s expertise and knowledge made a success of leading us to see a variety of species.

Went on my third tour yesterday and again it didn't disappoint. The pace was just right with several sites covered and plenty of time to take photos and observe the birds. Paul has amazing knowledge and eyesight - spotting birds way out to sea or in the far distance that we could then look at with a scope. Thoroughly recommended. I'll be back!

I'd thoroughly recommend Paul and his team. Jane and I joined one of Paul's group birdwatching trips after seeing numerous recommendations. Paul was friendly, helpful, very well organised and has great expertise. Paul was very careful to ensure that all of the group were helped to find all of the species and to how the less obvious species could be positively identified. He is clearly very experienced in the area and we moved between locations to get the most from the day. We had a great day out and will be very happy to go on further trips when we're down in Cornwall. Thanks again Paul!

We had a fabulous day at Avalon Marshes in Somerset. Really knowledgable and approachable guides. We learned so much and would recommend Cornwall Birdwatching Tours to anyone interested in and curious to find out more about the birds in our area.

A full day with Cornwall Bird Tours. 8am until 5pm and weather more like August than October - amazing. A carefully thought out tour which took us to migration hotspots around west Cornwall. My third trip with CBT and I reckon pushed 60+ species during the weekend including; Cattle Egret, Chough, Firecrest, Redstarts, Grey Wagtails, Rose Coloured Starling, Little Stint, Curlews, Turnstone, Med Gulls, Ruff and Grey Plover to list a few. Two really knowledgeable guides who catered for novice birdwatchers and more experienced birders, a great way to meet like minded people and superb Cornish scenery away from the tourist areas. Already booked another tour..

We had a wonderful day birding together as a family with Paul as our guide. We're beginners but saw a lot, including a wonderful experience of a peregrine right up close to us near some cliffs. Paul was very generous with his knowledge, including other animals along the coast (seals, an adder, etc). We all had a wonderful time.
