- This half-day September Tour will focus on waders and we will spend time at St Gothian Sands, Hayle and Mounts Bay looking for Curlew Sandpipers, Little Stints, Greenshank, Redshank, Whimbrel, Black and Bar-tailed Godwits, Purple Sandpipers, Sanderling and any other waders we can find!
What will I need??
- Please bring binoculars, Telescope (if you have one) and suitable clothing and footwear. We have a travel telescope and binoculars for hire if you wish. Feel free to bring drink and a packed Lunch. We provide tea, coffee, Hot Chocolate and Bovril fre of charge.
This tour is aimed at all bird watchers regardless of experience or ability, but we particularly welcome beginners/Novice birders who want to brush up on their Wader ID skills! Come along and enjoy the fresh air and learn more about Cornwall’s birdlife!
